15N

THis is the first time 15N came together to exhibit work within the city with using 3d work but mostly combining different sized flat medium together, As this is the initional get toether of the group it was mostly experimenting with how the dianamic of the group worked and getting used to the style of people we were producing. People were walking past and questioning what we were doing or stood and watched what we were doing for awhile which is the impact you would wish to have when exhibiting in a public forum.

Art and Audience

Aa part of the 15N group I decided to put my work in a tree because of the spindillay limb like forms of the tree and my drawings. I want to experiment with doing the poses in the tree itself to be like apart of living/performance art but due to the difficulties of being in a tree itself that idea didnt really work.

Studio Space

This is my studio space after I moved to painting instead of being in sculpture. This move really enabled to me to be able wotk through my ideas and inspirations better.I do work in a more 2d bases but with a very raw physical energy towards it which is why I did feel that sculpture was where my strengths lay but as an artist it is about being dynamic and open minded to exploratory stages of work.

Auguste Rodin

"Rodin adopted an encyclopedic approach tot he human body, building up as a completet as possible an anatomical catalogue. He wanted to study and set down on paper everything the human frame would allow, in a single line or sometimes servel, lightly tinted watercolour or hightlighted in deeper blood-red or purple tones. Some of the time this meant tense, detailed representation , at others approach was more elliptic with just a few more curves or an outline , often in pencil."
