Group meeting

This group meeting was to organize how a visit to Barracks mill will work, we plan to go on the 23rd of march with the intention of having time limited sections of production with photos,videos and drawings to capture the work in progress. To scout around for the materials already existing there to work with and then manipulating them in a way to reflect our own ideas. I was thinking of using spray paint to create the colored masses I have creating in the studio. Emphasizing points of interest , like joins in the body or pauses in movement. Looking at creating a sense of balance, lines and the feel of weight. I want to gather already present materials at the mill and then spray them to create one united volume and then create lines of movement journeying out of them. The recording the movement of creativity is important to the work as the final piece it self at it will allow the audience to see how each part of the group will bring their different interests to one piece of work and change it completely. We also discussed the place we will exhibit and have agreed on a shop front as our first choice as it will allow for more audience participation when indulging in voyeurism and the sense of window shopping. Need to explore how work will tie into the theme of deterroilzation- Roland Barthes.
