James Pimperton 28th april

Creative juggling and making opportunities.

The talk today was James and Ian having a conversation about James creative career. It was a real eye opener and motivational talk , it showed that if we really put our mind to what we are trying to accomplish that it is possible to end up exhibiting in London or being represented by a galleries. After two months since assessment my interest in my work and inspiration has been lacking and the thought of what is the point of this degree kept me back from really explore the many possibility s I could of expanded in my work. Call it the second year blues but after this talk it really set the idea of making this exhibition happen and been successful as possible. With lots of advice on how to make things work for you as well as benefiting all concerned. Being professional but also making connections personally will allow for favours to be called in at a later date. How to market and promote the collective of artists to gain respect of your fellow peers also was an important aspect of the talk. How to promote the transience art?
