Merging the lines between art an music, the secret art club shall be featured for a one night only show at Antwerp Mansion, held in the ballroom of this beautiful yet run down Victorian Building.
Works shall include Print Making, Painting, Curiosity Cabinets and Video, accompanying by a selection of Manchester finest folk musicians. Using the aid of light an shadow 'The Secret Art Club' aims to alter your perspectives on the visual and our perception of sound.
David Perkins and other School of art students created an event as their exhibition concept to an outstanding success. The mix of the acoustic guitars , rough but smooth vocals , lights dimming to the notes in the music to draw your eye in to different pieces of work at specific times. The collaboration of projection, installation and painting kept the audience interested as there was always some different angle on the work as the lighting changed. I thoroughly enjoyed this event.
