Instillation Art differs from the two dimensional media in it addresses the viewer directly as a literal presence in the space rather than the imagining the viewer as a pair of disembodied eyes that surveys from a distance. Completely engulfing and immerse the viewer allowing the viewer in to experience the work. spectator participation is so integral to installation art. Not to a isolated art for artists concept a much more involved process. This book really helped me to understand my own work and how it impacts the audience. Making my work to be more audience involved interests me bringing the public into the creative process.
