Method Statment 30th of april

Method statement

This is part of a collaborative group piece which will be made on site as a reactive piece to the venue. On the Saturday and Sunday a group of four of artist will be on site working in specific time slot through out the two days. Working on top of each others work in the space dedicated to the four of us.

I will be using chicken wire, wood veneer strips and thin aluminum wire which will be spray painted primary colors outside of the venue to limit toxic fumes. These will be attached to additional wooden boards/walls placed in a corner shape at the back of the venue. These will be attached to the boards using nails and a hammer and using instant contact adhesive which is fast drying, I will be using a ladder to build the instillation. There will be materials coming out of the wall but because I will be utilizing the corner space there will be limited access ,so the public will not be at harm of tripping or walking into it. Next to the piece will be a TV which will show a video of the construction of the final product , which would of been filmed over the weekend before. The TV will constantly be on a loop and will be plugged into the mains. Any cables will be taped down to avoid any hazards.
