Me and Jen went out into Northern Quatre and the surronding area to find pertentional shop fronts to exhibit in. There was many shops closed but details for them hard to find unless they are part of estate agentcies. We wanted to find a good location for minimal cost or who would be insterested in allowing an art exhibition within. Jen rang and emailed a few of the numbers contacted with no joy. We found the craft and design centre http://www.craftanddesign.com/ and at frist this seemed like a perfect oppertunity as they are cartered in being invovled witht the art scene. But on further research they have a full schdule of workshops and community based projects and we thought as a group the idea of an non art space seemed to be more pravilent in our interests. Bringing art into an more wide spread audience. Mat also contacted a shop space in withington who seemed open to the idea of the exhibition but we will still keep looking for a more central location.
